When programming the DL2800 and DL3000 series products, your must first change the mastercode manually before doing any other program commands and using our DL Windows Software. If you’re using our DL Windows software, make sure the mastercode you manually changed at the keypad is also changed in the software.
For PC Programming following these easy steps:
Ø Open the lock data screen in DL Windows Software
Ø Click on the send/receive button, choose send or receive
Ø Using the default mastercode, put the lock into program mode, change to your new mastercode
Ø While still in program mode, plug in the laptop, enter the program command AL58* on the keypad
Ø When finished, press any button on the keypad to exit programming mode
Ø Test a few of the new user codes
Ø If you’re going to be creating schedules, click here to download out easy to follow time zone set up instructions. You'll find it listed under Trilogy DL Programming Manuals

Bob, I've been having some troubles enrolling prox cards for users. I've noticed that the same sequence to add a prox card is also to delete a user
A 2 A [user number] *
Before I can enroll a prox card for a user their record is deleted. Could you please give me a push in the right direction? Perhaps the manual I have is incorrect. Thanks in advance!

Hello Matt,
Happy New Year and thanks for your question.
Yes, the same programming sequence or command to add/remove a user is AL2AL, user number, and either enter a PIN Code or press the star (*) key and present an HID Prox card while the lock is beeping, you have 10 seconds. If you press the * key and do not enter a PIN Code or present an HID Prox card, the record will be deleted.
In order for a HID Prox card to be entered for a user 12, the correct programming sequence would be; AL2AL12*, within 10 seconds present the HID card to the reader and wait for a double green light/beep. You may also enter a PIN Code, simply repeat the process, AL2AL12AL123456*. Now user 12 must present the HID Card and PIN Code 123456 to access the lock.
Of course you must have a Trilogy model with a built in Prox reader and is designated in the model number as PDL, PL, PDK as the prefix.
We have a 1 page cheat sheet go to http://www.alarmlock.com/support_techlibrary.html to down load a copy, look for T3 Prox Programming Cheat Sheet under the heading Trilogy DL Programming Manuals.
Matt, let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Bob Swoope
